The Blue Ant bluetooth device has some problems. When not already paired, if I dial a number after turning on the recipient can hear me but I cannot hear them. I purchased five for Christmas and kept one. The one I kept has the following issues. Also, when a call comes in sometimes you cannot always engage the Blue Ant. The volume is weak; not horrible but could use a boost.

He likes it better than his ear bluetooth. Purchased this for my husband. It really works well. The only drawback I know of is that I hear an echo when I am talking to him on it. It is very convenient to be able to carry it with you from vehicle to vehicle.
